Character Bio - Yvonne

Appearance:
The second shortest member of the party and Arledge’s sister, she shares his eyes and hair color. She often keeps her hair at shoulder length and only worries about brushing it straight with a sweep to one side from her right eye. Her mother was a wood-elf trader and her father a human hunter; as a result, she’s a Halfling. She’s never found without her teal colored set of light armour and her bow. Always donning a cowl and cloak for when she’s in a serious, mischievous or devious mood, her sweet charming face hides a devilish mastermind.

Personality:
Yvonne never cared about worrying about the future, and simply grew up thinking about what to do for the day. Never tomorrow, never after the next meal; living in the now has allowed her to have quick-thinking, and a very laid-back attitude. She’s very whimsical at times, especially in presence of the bourgeoisie and has developed a bitter resentment for the upper classes. Often times she can be found simply lolly-gagging in a spot with plenty of sun, or stalking one of her targets to try and swipe their coin pouch. She is a very caring person and always puts others before herself, even when stealing; most of the money she steals from the rich, greedy and ignorant winds up paying for a hobo’s meal later.

Background:
Growing up just outside of Dargonaire alongside her brother and their close, frequently visiting friend Eric, Yvonne had developed a passion for fighting, completing the “combat triangle” as their archer. As a naturally born Sagittius combined with learning how to hunt from her father, her skills with the bow became legendary. They lived on a farm to sell produce, however a greedy landlord had decided to take all the food Yvonne’s family had owned for themselves for the sake of a party; her parents, wanting their children to live, refused to eat and starved to death so Yvonne and Arledge wouldn't go hungry. She had a bitter hatred to the rich after this dishonor; she grabbed her father’s hunting bow and decided to kill the same man that let her parents die. Eric had found her hiding the shadows of the market, and noticing the fire in her eyes, realized what she was going to do. Eric – after nearly an hour of comforting and debating of philosophies and morals - managed to convince her killing the landlord wouldn't solve anything. Instead, she decided to put him through the same punishment she did; slowly and unbelievably, he would die on his own. She began simply stealing from the caravans delivering to the landlord’s home, and then she moved to raiding his house when he was out. Her biggest step was to steal the key to his coffers and return the money to the people that he taxed to the point they could no longer afford food and a home. She convinced him that she knew which bandits were stealing from the delivery caravans and in his anger and confusion, she took the key unnoticed. The bandits she pointed out WERE criminals, so the landlord took his prized sword and an army of mercenaries to deal with them; the coffers in his absence were emptied, and his house became gutted. Upon reaching the cave, Eric and Arledge had already dealt with the bandits, and upon returning home, the landlord had realized he had lost his fortune. Yvonne and her brother fled to Hyalmerth, they wouldn't have a bounty in that hold; the bounty she did have, however, was moving quickly through the streets as the paupers bought the food and drink for their families in celebration as the landlord lost everything he had.

As a young teen, Yvonne earned her name "sword dancer" as during one of her thieving raids on a corrupt politician, she was caught. The guards - mainly hired mercenaries - swung every weapon at her; each swing missed. She did not dodge, but rather weaved her way gracefully through the wrought iron and blood thirsty steel of broadswords, halberds and glaives; occasionally doing complete flips around lunges. After using the momentum of the weapons to knock out the guards without killing them, she simply responded giggling "Thanks for the dance everyone!"

Love Life:
Yvonne never cared for males, and doesn't care to have a devout relationship. Her wide open heart has allowed her to create multiple relationships, and she feels an attraction from grief-stricken and worried girls that are her age. She mainly goes for girls that feel they’re being cheated by their lovers, stressed from their families, or in sorrow from the loss of someone or something they held dear to their hearts. Her touch and voice is seductive, and many girls she speaks with quickly become accomplices. If left alone long enough, they quickly become friends; longer results in an affair.  Her seductive touch and understanding of how her partners feel allows her heart to grow attached for many, few girls are able to resist having another “sister” in their lives after they meet Yvonne for a decent amount of time. She doesn't believe in being devout to one person, but will often visit her ‘sisters’ when she gets the chance, sometimes resulting in another affair unless her old lover becomes devout to someone; she leaves quietly, but happy when she learns of it. Yvonne is also notorious for teasing her brother Arledge, the only male that hasn't tried to advance with her, and as his sister, she has made it her sole responsibility to annoy him about his lonely life. Often times, Yvonne puts her seductive nature to use as an assassin, easily picking up information by gaining trust from other females through an affair, or getting close to her targets before bringing steel through their heart. Yvonne’s nature, however, will sometimes complete the affair with her targets if they are female, but will quickly stab a man in the back without even thinking of the event.
